Metallic Epoxy Floor in Greenville, SC

Two-Stage Metallic System Brings Steel and Pewter Tones to a Client-Facing Space

Greenville Epoxy Flooring installed a charcoal and silver metallic epoxy floor in the conference room of a large commercial facility in Greenville, South Carolina — a bold, high-gloss finish that gives a client meeting space a dramatic, designed look completely distinct from the industrial space surrounding it. The facility is large-scale, and the conference room is where clients walk in expecting to be impressed. Stark white walls run through the rest of the building. The conference room needed something that matched the scale and ambition of the company using it. Metallic epoxy was the right answer.

The floor went down in two stages. The primer coat came first — a low-solids, low-viscosity charcoal gray epoxy that penetrates the concrete almost like water, squeegeed and back-rolled to eliminate lines and surface irregularities before the metallic layer goes on top. Getting the primer right determines whether the metallic coat lands smooth and consistent across the entire floor — skip this step or rush it, and the metallic shows every imperfection underneath. With the charcoal gray primer locked in, a silvery dark gray metallic coat went down over it — a color that pulls cool steel and pewter tones out of the base and builds the swirled, reflective, three-dimensional depth that metallic epoxy is known for. Against the white walls of the conference room, the charcoal-and-silver floor reads dramatic, polished, and completely intentional — the same standard we bring to commercial floor coatings throughout Greenville and the Upstate.
